The Associate Director, Marketing, Communications, and Events (MCE) is responsible for creating and executing marketing, communications, and event activities that support ACEN’s accreditation work under the supervision of the Director, Marketing, Communications, and Events (MCE). Marketing and communications include but are not limited to the ACEN website, social media, webinars, newsletters, and press releases. Events include but are not limited to live workshops, digital engagements, and board/stakeholder meetings.
The Associate Director, MCE works collaboratively with the Director, MCE as well as with other stakeholders across the organization to develop marketing and communications materials that support departmental and organizational objectives, and analyzes those materials to evaluate impact. The Associate Director, MCE supports the execution of events including on-site assistance for live activities, assistance with delivering digital engagements, and conducting board/stakeholder meetings.

Marketing and communications include but are not limited to the ACEN website, social media, webinars, newsletters, and press releases. Events include but are not limited to live workshops, digital engagements, and board/stakeholder meetings. The Director, MCE is responsible for ensuring that marketing and communications are aligned with ACEN’s strategic plan, brand identity, value proposition, and target audience, and that all deliver clear, consistent, and compelling messages that drive awareness and engagement. The Director, MCE maintains expertise with emerging trends in the marketing, communications and events industries, and functions as an internal expert within the ACEN. Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director, MCE is responsible for managing support staff and external vendors to achieve organizational goals. The Director, MCE has budgetary responsibility for the respective functional areas.
