PROGRAM ACCREDITATION STATUS IN RELATION TO STATE AND OTHER ACCREDITING AGENCY ACTIONS

1. If the ACEN is notified that the accreditation status of the governing organization of an ACEN-accredited nursing program was changed by its institutional accrediting agency, the ACEN will promptly review the program to determine what action should be taken. 2. If the ACEN is notified that the approval status of the governing organization of an ACEN-accredited nursing program was changed by a state agency, the ACEN will promptly review the program to determine what action should be taken. See ACEN Policy #19 Focused Site Visit.
3. If the ACEN is notified that the status of an ACEN-accredited nursing program was changed by a state agency, the ACEN will promptly review the program to determine what action should be taken. See ACEN Policy #19 Focused Site Visit.
