Sam Posey

Samuel Posey is the Senior Director of Information Technology and Data at the Accreditation for Education in Nursing (ACEN). In this role, he directs strategic plans, operations, project implementation, and support.

Samuel is a results-driven professional with extensive experience in developing and executing strategic IT initiatives. He has a proven track record of aligning technology solutions with business goals to stimulate revenue growth, improve efficiency, and enhance user experience.

Prior Roles include Chief Technology Officer at Kenneth S. Nugent where Mr. Posey implemented robust technology solutions across critical business functions, led change management programs, and oversaw the deployment of new systems and technologies. He also developed and managed IT security and regulatory standard programs. He also served as the Chief Information Officer at The Southern Credit Union where he advised stakeholders on emerging technologies and acted as the primary liaison for the National Credit Union Administration and the Georgia Department of Finance. He developed and deployed modern technology solutions, including electronic banking products and services. Additionally, he served as the Director of Information Technology at Troutman Sanders where he directed the day-to-day operations of the IT department at this international law firm and implemented various technology solutions.
